Bachelor of Business in Retail Management Practice (Honours Degree)
The Level 8 Honours Degree Programme is delivered over one academic year and enables learners to develop advanced core competencies and skills in retail management by building on learning and business knowledge already gained whilst completing the Level 7 Retail Management Degree.
This add-on programme has been developed in conjunction with many of Ireland’s leading retail organisations and is based on national and international best practice in retail education.
The Level 8 Retail Management Practice Degree is delivered on a part-time basis and allows retail employees to continue working full-time. It is delivered in Dublin and requires the learner to attend college 19 days per year – 12 days in the classroom and 7 days online. A particular strength of this programme is guest presentations by retail experts during each module. The integration of practitioner and consultant materials informs and reinforces the academic modules.

- Course Delivery & Location
This programme is delivered in Dublin with 19 days of classroom learning. 12 days are delivered in the classroom and 7 days online.
From September to May, learners will typically attend class for one 2-day block per month (excluding December and January) with time allocated for work based projects/assessments to be completed between set class dates.
- Entry Requirements
Learners who successfully complete the Level 7 of Business in Retail Management Practice will have the opportunity to enrol on the Level 8 Honours Degree Programme. Some learners who have completed a similar Level 7 retail qualification may be also apply following a review of modules completed.
