We’re celebrating a fantastic milestone at Retail Ireland Skillnet as 33 retail professionals have graduated from our Bachelor of Business and Retail Management Practise (Level 7) programme. Alongside this achievement, 17 of these graduates have chosen to continue their academic journey by progressing onto the Level 8 programme Bachelor of Business and Retail Management Practise.
The graduation ceremony took place at the Atlantic Technological University Letterkenny, bringing together proud family members, friends, co-workers and employers to share the moment. The atmosphere in Letterkenny today is one of joy, pride and collective achievement.
Balancing work, study and life
These graduates have shown real determination, with many working full-time in retail while undertaking this programme. The Business and Retail Management Practise programme covers essential modules such as marketing, retail operations, finance, customer experience and innovation, equipping learners with results-driven skills tailored to the retail sector. Much like our previous graduates, they overcame many challenges and delivered strong results.
A step up to leadership
For the 17 learners advancing to the Level 8 Bachelor of Business in Retail Management Practice, the next phase focuses on strategic leadership topics such as sustainability, digital transformation, change management, and talent strategy. This programme is also designed for busy working professionals: combining classroom and online sessions to serve busy retail work patterns.
